The foundation for achieving flexibility in RDS

The high-performance articulated probe holder among similar products, with the ability to reach countless positions, enables your measurements to cover almost all angles.

The RDS articulated probe holder is particularly suitable for measuring complex parts, which typically require the use of multiple measuring needles with different spatial positions. It can rotate and run to 20736 different spatial positions with a step distance of 2.5 °, so each part feature can be measured. The implementation of the above performance is attributed to the horizontal and vertical rotation axes covering a rotation range of+/-180 °.

In addition, RDS-CAA for trigger probes also helps to shorten calibration time: you only need to calibrate a few spatial angle positions. When programming, RDS can be easily located through the joystick on the control panel, thus greatly reducing programming time. This design can be applied to standard, compact, and multi probe measuring machine configurations.

VAST XT gold actively scans for 'full system compatibility'

In all measurement applications that require large probe configurations and high-precision performance, the VAST active probe series plays a crucial role. VAST XT gold laid the foundation for active scanning technology.

VAST XT gold is equipped with an additional measurement system. The measurement force can be configured according to the measurement task, and it can also be used for a series of correction programs.

In addition to active scanning, this probe also supports single point measurement: for example, VAST XT gold allows you to flexibly use complex probe configurations and provides automatic centering function.

With its high-speed scanning capability, VAST XT gold can meet your task needs: measuring shape and position, measuring curves and free-form surfaces, as well as reverse engineering. The application range covers plastic processing parts, foam plastic, brake parts, crank shaft, engine and turbine blades.

VAST XXT's unique scanning method

VAST XXT supports high-precision scanning on the RDS articulated probe holder.

Compared with trigger probes, VAST XXT improves the safety and accuracy of measurement operations. In addition, a scanning function has been added, which can provide shape information about features.

The design of lightweight scanning probes used in conjunction with articulated probe holders requires different probe modules. VAST XXT only has three modules, but it can fully cover the typical probe length range designed for this type of probe.
